Addressing a group of mayors of south Lebanon towns, Allamah Fazlollah said, ”Our power in Lebanon is obtained through the unity of Sunni and Shia Muslims. This unity also protects Lebanon and keeps away Israel.”
He also called for unity between the Muslims and Christians in Lebanon and said Lebanon is a country of variety but this diversity should not cause religious and ethnic rift.
